Challenges faced by nurses while working on the Trauma Team in the Emergency Department

The aim of the master's thesis is to identify challenges faced by nurses while working in the Emergency Department Trauma Team of Hospital X Third Level Trauma’s Center. The type of study is a mixed study with a predominant qualitative part of research. For the qualitative part of the research, the method of semi-structured interview survey was applied, for the quantitative part - the measurable monitoring of patient flows. Participants in the qualitative part of the study: during the interview, 10 nurses working in the Trauma team of the Emergency Department of the Third Level Injury Center of Hospital X were interviewed. The population of the quantitative part of the study consisted of all patients 2019 July 1 – 2020 January 1, delivered to Hospital X Third Level Trauma Center, Emergency Department, and treated by Trauma Team (n=135)
