Training of education professionals and the Pedagogy course

The general objective of the present study was to analyze how the course of Pedagogy of UNIPAR has contributed to the formation of teachers. It was tried to answer the following questions: How the course of Pedagogy has contributed to the formation o teachers? Which is the historical trajectory of curricular organization of the Course of Pedagogy in the ambit of Brazilian education and in the context of UNIPAR? What think the teachers and students about the curricular organization of the Course of Pedagogy of UNIPAR - Campus Umuarama - Headquarters? What are the points of advance and the points which difficult the curricular organization of the Course of Pedagogy? For the development of the study it was opted for qualitative research which objectifíed to apprehend the reality in focus of its uncertainty, in its multidimensionality, of formation and to extract a greater number of analysis. It was tried to indicate among other aspects, by means of structured interviews to teachers and questionnaire to students registered in the years of 2000 and 2001 in the Paranaense University UNIPAR - Campus Umuarama -Headquarters, ways which can orientate the reformulation of the Course of Pedagogy in the Paranaense University UNIPAR. It was concluded that teachers and students consider curricular organization of the Course of Pedagogy as significant to professional formation. The description which teachers and students the university made about developed practices in the course induced to the idea that innovations lead by them are based in an epistemological conception different than traditional. They reveal, in their speeches a perception of knowledge that is found present as in the content taught as, mainly, in how it is taught. The knowledge extends here beyond information, as ways of thinking, seeing, feeling and acting in the world. The fundamental questions of this investigation orientated, in its theoretical-methodological purpose, to the supposition that there is a process of rupture of traditional paradigms in the daily pedagogic practice in the university in study. Understanding the process of teaching as a revelation of movements and discoveries, it is also concluded, that context and subjects of research are in a constant interaction and in permanent change. The fíndings here described suggest to integrate accumulated knowledge about the thematic and, somehow, to contribute to the collective effort that has been done in the area of didactic and formation of teachers, which better contribute to the qualification of these fields of acting.Dissertação (Mestrado)O objetivo geral do presente estudo foi analisar como o Curso de Pedagogia da UNIPAR tem contribuído para a formação de professores. Buscou-se responder as seguintes questões: Como o Curso de Pedagogia tem contribuído para a formação de professores? Qual a trajetória histórica da organização curricular do Curso de Pedagogia no âmbito da educação brasileira e no contexto da UNIPAR? O que pensam os professores e alunos sobre a organização curricular do Curso de Pedagogia da UNIPAR - Campos Umuarama - Sede? Quais os pontos de avanços e os pontos que dificultam a organização curricular do Curso de Pedagogia? Para o desenvolvimento do estudo optou-se pela pesquisa qualitativa que objetivou apreender a realidade em foco em sua incerteza, em sua multidimensionalidade de formação e extrair o maior número de análises. Procurou-se indicar entre outros aspectos, por meio de entrevistas estruturadas para os professores e questionários para os alunos matriculados nos anos de 2000 e 2001 da Universidade Paranaense UNIPAR - Campos Umuarama - Sede, caminhos que possam orientar a reformulação do Curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Paranaense UNIPAR. Concluiu-se que os professores e alunos da universidade pesquisada consideram a organização curricular do Curso de Pedagogia como significativo para a formação profissional. A descrição que os professores e alunos fizeram das práticas desenvolvidas no curso induziram à idéia de que as inovações levadas por eles encontram-se alicerçadas numa concepção epistemológica diferente da tradicional. Para tanto, revelam, nos seus discursos uma percepção de conhecimento que encontra-se presente tanto no conteúdo ensinado como, principalmente, na forma como é ensinado. Entende-se o conhecimento aqui, para além das informações, como modos de pensar, de ver, de sentir e de atuar no mundo. As questões fundamentais desta investigação orientaram, na sua proposta teórico-metodológica, para o pressuposto de que há um processo de ruptura de paradigmas tradicionais no cotidiano da prática pedagógica universitária em estudo. Ao entender o processo de ensino como revelação de movimentos e descobertas, conclui-se também, que o contexto e os sujeitos da pesquisa estão em constante interação e em permanente mudança. Os achados aqui descritos se propõem a integrar o conhecimento acumulado sobre a temática e, de alguma forma, contribuir para o esforço coletivo que vem sendo feito na área da didática e da formação de professores que melhor contribuam para a qualificação destes campos de atuação
