Off: stories of people who experienced institutional shutdown by age: contributions of the literary journalism for visibility of the off young in the society

The present technician-scientific report for the conclusion of a professional Master’s degree one in Technologies, Communication and Education of the Federal University of Uberlândia presents the itinerary of the production of a book-news article printed matter on the institutional dismissal due to legal majority in Brazil. We guide the work for the following problem: How can the literary journalism contribute to reduce the invisibility of the institutional dismissal due to legal majority in the printed Brazilian media? We support the research in theoretical recitals on the description of the institutionalization in Brazil, since the settling of our country until the present time. We also bring literatures on the human development process, the factors of risks and protection of the institutionalization and the development of the resilience in citizens whose lives have been marked by the shelter in institutions. The methodology that we use understands the literary journalism as method and technique of production of the texts that compose book-news article. The workmanship is formed by four chapters, the first one of them on the description of the institutionalization in Brazil. Excessively they are journalistic profiles of citizens that have lived deeply the experience of the institutional dismissal due to legal majority in different historical periods. The interviewed ones are: Dona Haydée, an 80 years old lady, who lived 46 years of its life in shelter institutions and in part of these years she acted as one of the directors of the Educational establishment where she lived for 43 years; Saulo, 49 years old, lived in shelter institutions since his birth and was dismissed due to legal majority 31 years ago; and Bárbara, a 17 years old lady that, at the date of the interviews (carried through between the months of September and November, 2018) was about to be dismissed due to legal majority by the institution where she lives since 2017.Dissertação (Mestrado)O presente relatório técnico-científico de conclusão do mestrado profissional em Tecnologias, Comunicação e Educação da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia apresenta o itinerário da produção de um livro-reportagem impresso sobre o desligamento institucional por maioridade civil no Brasil. Guiamos o trabalho pelo seguinte problema: De que maneira o jornalismo literário pode contribuir para reduzir a invisibilidade da questão do desligamento institucional por maioridade na mídia impressa brasileira? Sustentamos a pesquisa em fundamentações teóricas sobre o histórico da institucionalização no Brasil, desde a colonização do nosso país até a atualidade. Também trazemos literatura sobre o processo desenvolvimento humano, os fatores de riscos e de proteção da institucionalização e o desenvolvimento da resiliência em sujeitos cujas vidas foram marcadas pelo acolhimento em instituições. A metodologia que usamos compreende o jornalismo literário como método e técnica de produção dos textos que compõem o livro-reportagem. A obra é formada por quatro capítulos, o primeiro deles é sobre o histórico da institucionalização no Brasil. Os demais são perfis jornalísticos de sujeitos que vivenciaram a experiência do desligamento institucional por maioridade em diferentes períodos históricos. Foram entrevistados: Dona Haydée, uma senhora de 80 anos, que viveu 46 anos de sua vida em instituições de acolhimento e em parte desses anos atuou como uma das diretoras do Educandário onde morou por 43 anos; Saulo, 49 anos, viveu em instituições de acolhimento desde o seu nascimento e foi desligado por maioridade há 31 anos e Bárbara, uma jovem de 17 anos que na data das entrevistas (realizadas entre os meses de setembro a novembro de 2018) encontrava-se em eminência do desligamento por maioridade da instituição, onde vive desde 2017
