Flow rate measurement uncertainty relating to ADCP gauging. Gauging operations serve as the basis for establishing a relation between height and flow rate. This relation then permits calculating the flow rate on the basis of water height recorded at a hydrometric station. Determining flow rate entails a complex measurement process since the parameters measured (section, velocity) can change during measurement, especially in the case of a transient flow.
