This paper deals with further developments of axial flow pump study which enable us to calculate inducers, either with or without a stator. We shall show how from one stage of the pump we can determine the height and efficiency of the machine with or without a stator. A graphical synthesis of the results makes it possible to determine the performance variations of the machine for different values of the specific velocity. Concerning the NSPH, its limit value is calculated as a function of the diffusion factor. The results shown in the form of diagrams show that the systematic choice of a great rotor-angle does not always correspond to the optimisation of the NSPH.
