Study on site and on model of performance of big natural draught cooling towers. Fully and now automatized tests, carried out on site, and tests on model i.e. aérodynamic model exclusively as well as "heating" model simulating thermal draught allowed us to detect wind effects on the performance of natural draught cooling tower. Laws referring to the increase of head loss at the bottom of the tower and increase of draught at the top of the cooling tower were elaborated.
