In France, underground waters tend to be overexploited and their quality and amount begin to be aleatory. The lowering of piezometric levels increases their operation cost, induces their quality alteration and favours the polluted water advent. The artificial feeding makes possible the underground water normal level re-setting up, the pollution risks elimination and the water quality improvement. Two examples are cited in the paper, relating to underground waters within chalk in Dunkerque region and Croissy plain in the western part of Paris region.
