The unit hydrograph method (based on “Studies of Relation of Rainfall and Runoff in the U.S.A.” by Hoyt and others is applied to the 239,000 sq. lem. Uruguay river basin above Concordia, but with a week as the time unit, to estimate the biggest flow obtainable by transposition of extraordinary sudden rainfall on the river basin and its surroundings in April 1959 to the critical case.Dans ce travail, on a fait une application de la méthode des hydrogrammes unitaires (en suivant les indications de «Studies of Relations of Rainfall and Run-off in the U.S.A.» by Hoyt and anothers) au grand bassin du fleuve Uruguay en amont de Concordia (239 000 km²) mais en adoptant la semaine comme unité de temps, pour estimer le plus grand débit qui serait obtenu par transposition, dans le cas le plus défavorable, de la pluie extraordinaire tombée sur le bassin et ses environs en avril 1959.Mon Rodrigo.
