Este estudo foca as perspetivas de professores sobre o humor para ensinar Matemática. Em particular, procura dar resposta às questões: O que se passa na escola com o humor, especificamente no ensino da Matemática? Os professores consideram que têm sentido de humor e apreciam o sentido de humor nos outros? Reconhecem o valor educativo do humor no ensino e na aprendizagem da Matemática? Que funções associam ao humor instrucional e que conhecimento didático revelam na sua justificação? Para lhes responder, foi construído e aplicado um questionário com questões de resposta aberta e de resposta fechada.
