International audienceIn this paper, a novel category of expectation propagation (EP) based frequency domain (FD) semi-blind receivers are proposed for single-carrier block transmissions. A recently proposed EP-based framework for deriving double-loop turbo detectors is extended to handle joint data-aided channel estimation along with EP-based soft interference cancellation (IC). When addressing this problem in a message passing framework, an unconventional probability density function prevent us from establishing analytical update functions for estimating data and channel estimates.
