Abstract

Thesis (M.S.) University of Alaska Fairbanks, 2011This thesis covers shear wave splitting results from a decade of temporary networks deployed throughout Alaska. The analysis and interpretation of data from the MOOS (Multidiscipline Observations Of Subduction) and ARCTIC (Alaska Receiving Cross Transect for the Inner Core) PASSCAL (Program for Array Seismic Studies of the Continental Lithosphere) deployments, combined with the previously published BEAAR (Broadband Experiment Across the Alaska Range) results provide anisotropy and flow observations across the state.
