This is an ethnographic narrative recounting my journey into education, my experience as a Mexica-America student, and my decision to become a History-Social Science educator. Throughout this narrative, I explored the competencies of becoming a warm-demander and an effective educator for culturally and linguistically diverse students. I interviewed 3 students of various backgrounds. Additionally, I researched the community and school site in order to fit their learning needs
