The paper describes stylistic markers of an educational discourse distinguishing this discourse from other communication means. The discussion included the following topics: the situation of an educational discourse in the communication and generic space, its subject and object, with the roles of a teacher and pupil – ascribed to them, the discourse content, a didactic dialogue as a specific form of a didactic text organization, language registers typical of the didactic style, and the phenomenon of stylistic polymorphism of contemporary didactic texts.Uniwersytet OpolskiBernstein B., 1990, Odtwarzanie kultury, Warszawa.Brzezińska A., 1996, Jak dobrze uczyć?
