Frogeye Leaf Spot is an important fungal disease caused by the pathogen Cercospora sojina. This disease is mainly controlled through the use of fungicides and genetic resistance, however due to current resistance to strobilurin fungicides and ability to overcome some single gene resistances the need for development of more resistant lines is necessary. With this the objectives of this study were to observe and analyze the results of field studies for resistance to FLS, as well as a greenhouse assay in conjunction with SNP genotyping to reveal lines with resistance to FLS and possibly QTL conferring this resistance.
