The Image of Women in the Surrealist Works of Vítězslav Nezval and Jindřich Štyrský

Celem pracy jest omówienie i porównanie podejścia do wizerunku kobiet w surrealistycznych tekstach Vítězslava Nezvala i Jindřicha Štyrskiego. Pierwszy i drugi rozdział opisuje początki surrealizmu we Francji i Czechosłowacji. W trzecim rozdziale znajduje się zarys sytuacji kobiet w czasach kształtowania się surrealizmu. Piąty i szósty poświęcone są życiu i analizie twórczości Nezvala. Siódmy rozdział skupia się na postaci Štyrskiego i analizie jego twórczości.My thesis discuss and compare the approach to women in the Surrealist texts of Vítězslav Nezval and Jindřich Štyrský. The first and second chapters describe the beginnings of surrealism in France and Czechoslovakia. The third chapter provides an overview of the situation of women after the First World War. The fifth and sixth chapters are devoted to the Nezval’s life and the analysis of his work. The seventh chapter focuses on the figure of Štyrský and the analysis of his work
