Przedmiotem niniejszych badań jest użycie dwóch form adresatywnych „tú” oraz „usted” w meksykańskiej odmianie języka hiszpańskiego. W pracy przedstawiony został punk widzenia różnych lingwistów, którzy wyjaśniają czynniki wpływające na użycie wspomnianych form adresatywnych na obszarze Meksyku.
