Momordica charantia L. (przepękla ogórkowata) jest tropikalną rośliną leczniczą posiadającą właściwości antyoksydacyjne. Celem badań było określenie różnicy potencjału antyoksydacyjnego oraz zawartości polifenolii flawonoidów w ekstraktach z przepękli ogórkowatej uzyskanych różnymi metodami z różnych części tej rośliny. Badano także dostępny handlowo preparat. Wyniki badań potwierdziły doniesienia o właściwościach przeciwutleniających przepękli ogórkowatej i wykazały znaczącą różnicę w zawartości antyoksydantów, w zależności od sposobu przygotowywania ekstraktu lub od części stosowanej rośliny.Momordica charantia L.
