Codziennie kobiety na całym świecie narażone są na przemoc fizyczna czy psychiczna, domowa czy przemoc ze strony rówieśników. Wszystkie formy są mocno krzywdzące i zostawiające piętno na wszystkich. A co jeśli wszystkie te formy się ze sobą połączą? Co kilkanaście sekund jakaś dziewczynka w Somalii jest narażona na właśnie taka połączona przemoc. Matki robią to swoim córkom, podczas gdy ojcowie udają że nic się nie dzieje. Rówieśniczki gdy wiedza ze jeszcze nie któraś z nich nie ma wykonanego tego zabiegu uważają, ze jest ona „brudna”. Mowa Female Genital Mutilation czyli obcinaniu narządów płciowych u kobiet. Jest to stara praktyka, która trwa do dziś i która nie tylko pielęgnują kobiety ale również w pewnym sensie mężczyźni. 98% to wysoki wynik, który należy do Somalii. Ta liczba oznacza ile dziewcząt jest obrzezanych w tym kraju. W niesterylnych warunkach, bez znieczulenia, tępa żyletka czy kawałkiem szkła.Praca ta dotyczy właśnie tego problemu. Jest to nie tylko coś co dotyczy ludności afrykańskiej, tylko wszystkich. Warto się zastanowić skąd się to w ogóle wzięło? Jak to wygląda? Czy można to jakoś zastopować? A może to już samo zanika? Opisywane są tu problemy globalne, z którymi trzeba sobie poradzić.Female Genital Mutilation in Somalia as an example of degrading treatment of women in the world.Everyday women all around the world are exposed to a physical, psychological and domestic violence. All forms of that violence are heavily unconscionable and leave terrible effects on sufferers. And what if we connect all those forms of violence together? Every few seconds a girl in Somalia is exposed to such combined violence. The worst thing about that is that the mothers of that little girls do this to them while fathers pretends that nothing happens. The other girls conscious about their friends not being cut already, claim that they are "dirty". What we are talking about is Female Genital Mutilation. It is an old tradition, which in some countries still is practiced and looked after by not only women, but also by men. Only in Somalia 98% of little girls undergo such surgery with no anesthesia performed in non-sterile conditions with the use of blunt razor blade or piece of glass.This bachelor’s thesis describes exactly that problem. We have to be aware, however, that it doesn't only applies to African countries, but it is still practiced all around the world. What are the origins of that tradition? How the procedure looks like? How to stop it? Or maybe it is being stopped already by itself? These are the questions that are being discussed here along with global problems we have to deal with
