Football Metaphors in Spanish Sports Press

Język piłki nożnej w hiszpańskiej prasie jest bogaty w wyrażenia natury metaforycznej. W niniejszej pracy zajmiemy się tematyką metafor oraz powodami, dla których występują w artykułach prasowych, a także sposobem, w jaki wpływają na czytelników. Na podstawie korpusu utworzonego przy pomocy cyfrowych wersji hiszpańskich dzienników sportowych (Sport, Mundo Deportivo, Marca i AS) podzielimy metafory na różne kategorie tematyczne w celu ustalenia ich funkcji w tekście.The football language of Spanish press is full of metaphorical expressions. This study investigates cognitive metaphors in order to establish the reason of their existence in sports articles and their possible effects on readers. With the help of a corpus based on digital versions of Spanish daily sports newspapers (Sport, Mundo Deportivo, Marca and AS), we will divide the metaphors in various semantic fields in order to determine the roles they play in the text.El lenguaje futbolístico de la prensa española es muy rico en expresiones de naturaleza metafórica. Con la presente investigación nos proponemos investigar el tema de las metáforas cognitivas, tal y como buscar los motivos por los que se emplean y los efectos que causan en los lectores. Utilizando un corpus basado en las versiones digitales de diarios deportivos españoles (Sport, Mundo Deportivo, Marca y AS), dividimos las metáforas en varios ámbitos semánticos con el fin de comprobar su función en el texto
