Torelli theorem for smooth projective curves

W pierwszych rozdziałach pracy wprowadzono pojęcia, takie jak rozmaitość abelowa i polaryzacja oraz rozmaitość Jacobiego krzywej i dywizor theta. Następnie przedstawiono dowód twierdzenia Torellego, które mówi, że rozmaitość Jacobiego krzywej jako spolaryzowana rozmaitość abelowa wyznacza jednoznacznie tę krzywą. Na zakończenie krótko omówiono kilka innych faktów dotyczących rozmaitości Jacobiego.In the first chapters of the paper there were introduced notions such as abelian variety, polarization, Jacobian variety and theta divisor. Then the proof of Torelli theorem was presented. This theorem states that Jacobian variety of a curve treated as polarized abelian variety uniquely determines this curve. At the end, some other properties of Jacobian varieties were shortly discussed
