Internet of Things application in a smart house concept. A model based on the Android platform and Arduino microcontrollers

Technologie związane z Internetem rzeczy stały się w ostatnim czasie bardzo popularne. Firmy prześcigają się w wymyślaniu komercyjnych rozwiązań sprawiających, że nasze domy stają się "inteligentne". Celem tej pracy jest pokazanie, że system sterowania automatyką domową można stworzyć samodzielnie przy użyciu niedrogich, łatwo dostępnych modułów, takich jak Arduino Uno, ESP8266 i HM-10. W pracy zostały omówione również aspekty bezpieczeństwa tego typu aplikacji oraz możliwości ich rozwoju.Internet of Things technologies has recently become very popular. Companies outdo each other in inventing commercial products making our homes "smart". The aim of this paper is to show that home automation system can be built single-handedly, with the use of inexpensive, easily accessible modules like Arduino Uno, ESP8266, and HM-10.
