Comparative analysis of income and expenditures of Polish Ekstraklasa and German 1.Bundesliga football clubs

Modern football market I commercialized market and football clubs are generating significant revenues and expenditures. As in any company , football club’s one of the objective is to generate financial profit.The thesis compares the income and expenditure of Ekstraklasa and 1.Bundesliga clubs. The aim of the study was to compare the specifics of management in both leagues, as well as to determine how far the Ekstraklasa clubs are from sports leading sport companies in Europe.The thesis compares the following financial ratios for the two leagues: the amount of revenue, revenue growth, net profit, revenue diversification, load indicator capital commitments, compensation/revenue ratio and net margin.Further part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of macro- and microenvironment of Ekstraklasa and 1.Bundesliga clubs and formulated recommendations for the Ekstraklasa clubs for better management of sport clubs.Modern football market I commercialized market and football clubs are generating significant revenues and expenditures.
