Gold mining in Peru - the impact on the natural environment , human health and social conflicts

W pracy przedstawiono głównych producentów oraz rozmieszczenie wydobycia złota na świecie. Szczegółowo problem jego eksploatacji został omówiony na przykładzie Peru. Praca powstała w oparciu o szczegółową analizę literatury, danych agencji amerykańskiej United States Geological Survey oraz raportów z oficjalnych stron internetowych głównych korporacji górniczych. Zwrócono uwagę na problem nielegalnej eksploatacji tego surowca oraz związane z tym konflikty społeczne i zagrożenie dla środowiska naturalnego. Przedstawione zostały konkretne przykłady problemów ekonomicznych, społecznych i ekologicznych, jak również próby ich rozwiązania.This publication presents the major producers and the distribution of gold mining in the world. The issue in detail its operation was discussed on the example of Peru. The publication was based on a detailed analysis of the literature, data of the American agency United States Geological Survey and reports from the official websites of the major mining corporations. Attention was drawn to the problem of illegal exploitation of this mineral and associated with this social conflicts and the threat to the environment. I presented concrete examples of economic, social and environmental problems, as well as attempts to resolve them
