Niniejsza praca magisterska składa się z trzech rozdziałów: wprowadzenia do studiów o językach kreolskich, które w zwięzły sposób wyjaśnia ogólne procesy powstawania języków kreolskich; drugi rozdział jest opisem języka haitańskiego, który stanowi podstawę naszej analizy; trzeci rozdział analizuje 80 słów pochodzących z haitańskiej wersji Małego Księcia. Słowa te zostały porównanie z francuskimi odpowiednikami, a obserwacje zostały opisane według następującej struktury: w pierwszej kolejności opis zjawisk fonetycznych takich jak: apokopa, synkopa, afereza, zanik dźwięku [r] oraz asymilacja innych dźwięków; następnie opis zjawisk morfologicznych: różne przypadki aglutynacji i kompozycji.
