Optimality of reinsurance contracts

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie problemu optymalności reasekuracji, która jest jednym z najważniejszych elementów gospodarki finansowej zakładu ubezpieczeń. Przedstawiona zostanie rola reasekuracji w ubezpieczeniach, rodzaje umów reasekuracyjnych oraz warunki optymalności umów przy zastosowaniu kryterium minimalizacji Value at Risk w kontekście piętnastu wybranych zasad wyznaczania składek ubezpieczeniowych.The primary objective of the thesis is to determine optimal reinsurance, which is one of the most important components of the financial management from an insurer's perspective. We consider role of the reinsurance in insurance industry, different types of reinsurance contracts as well as conditions of the optimal reinsurance using Value at Risk minimization criterion under fifteen insurance premium principles
