Niniejsza praca magisterska skupia się na zagadnieniu poprawy jakości sekwencji wideo o bardzo niskim poziomie światła. Zaprezentowany został algorytm służący do tego celu, przeznaczony głównie do ciemnych i zaszumionych sekwencji. W skład opisywanego algorytmu wchodzą między innymi takie procesy, jak poprawa kontrastu przez wyrównanie histogramu oraz adaptacyjna filtracja obrazu. Filtracja odbywa się po uprzedniej analizie czasoprzestrzennej przetwarzanych sekwencji, z wykorzystaniem tensora strukturalnego. Kernele filtrujące tworzone są w taki sposób, by zachować kontury obiektów oraz zminimalizować rozmycie spowodowane ruchem.Stworzony program umożliwia wybór parametrów wejściowych wykorzystywanych przez algorytm.
