Cząsteczka borazanu (NH3BH3, AB), jako układ stabilny nawetw wyższych temperaturach, stanowi obiecujący materiałw technologii magazynowania wodoru, głównie ze względu na dużąjego zawartość wagową (19,4 wt. - %). Jest to ważne w aspekciezastąpienia „tradycyjnych” paliw samochodowych (benzyna, ropa,gaz ziemny), cząsteczkowym wodorem.
