Ovarian cancer is one of the most common death causes among women affected by the neoplasm of female reproductive organs. Asymptomatic course of carcinogenesis in the early stages of the disease leads to delayed diagnosis of the cancer. The aim of the thesis is to present the case of the serous ovarian tumor in 53-aged patient in the aspect of monitoring the progress of the disease by measuring the level of tumor marker CA125
