EU’s citizens have become very mobile. They have been studing, working, or living in another Member States more often than before. Consequently, there are more and more marriages being formed amongst individuals from different UE countries (included Poland). Civil marriage is recognised in all EU MS. However, national rules and practice regarding marriages differ from one country to another. The most significant difference is the right of same-sex couples marriage.
