Personality and temperamental determinants choice of academic studies

The thesis shows motives related to the choice of academic studies declared by the students of psychology, information science and cultural studies. The personality characteristics of respondents has also been carried out. The differences demonstrated between students are confronted with stereotypes about engineers, psychologists, and humanists. The results are also discussed in the context of career counselling, candidates selection, and personnel consultancy and they aim to demonstrate that the variables such as motivation and personality play an important role and can be used within the work and education area.Praca ukazuje motywy związane z wyborem kierunku studiów wyższych deklarowane przez studentów psychologii, informatyki i kulturoznawstwa.
