Controlling system is seen as a modern method of supporting and business management improvement. It provides a coverage that includes three functions: planning, directing and controlling, making processes more efficient.Organizations that applying controlling in their activity increases their efficiency and competitiveness in the market economy.The purpose of the master's thesis entitled “Strategic controlling as a support system of company managing “is to present the organization of controlling system in a selected company and analysis of the sphere of strategic controlling in a production enterprise with a proposal for its improvement.The chosen goal has been achieved through research conducted in the said company,preceeded by study of literature dealing with the subject. The master's thesis consists of four chapters, the first and the second of which is concerned with theoretical ascpects, while the other two are concerned with the practical.The practical part presented in the third and fourth chapters is the recapitulation of thetheoretical discussion. The basis for this part of the master's thesis was the research conductedwith paying special attention to organisation of controlling in the XYZ company.System controllingu postrzegany jest jako nowoczesna metoda wspomagająca i usprawniająca zarządzanie przedsiębiorstwem. Swym zasięgiem obejmuje trzy funkcje: planowanie, kierowanie i kontrolowanie, dzięki czemu procesy, nad którymi czuwa zespół controllerów przebiegają sprawnej i są wydajniejsze. Organizacje wykorzystujące w swej działalności zastosowania proponowane przez controlling zwiększają swą efektywność oraz konkurencyjność na rynku ekonomicznym.Celem pracy było przedstawienie sposobu organizacji systemu controllingu w wybranej firmie oraz analiza procesu sfery controllingu strategicznego w Koncernie XYZ wraz z propozycją ewentualnych usprawnień.Wyznaczony cel został osiągnięty dzięki przeprowadzeniu badań w wybranym przedsiębiorstwie, które były poprzedzone wnikliwymi studiami nad literaturą przedmiotu. Niniejsza praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów, z których dwa pierwsze dotyczą rozważań teoretycznych, natomiast rozdział trzeci i czwarty skupiają się nad praktyczną stroną prezentowanego tematu.Podsumowaniem dla części teoretycznej stała się empiryczna część pracy, zawarta w dwóch ostatnich rozdziałach. Podstawą dla praktycznej strony rozważań były badania dokonane pod kątem controllingu strategicznego w wybranej organizacji
