Lexical localisms in the speech of Sandomierz inhabitants

The subject of thesis are present in the lexical regionalisms speaking residents of Sandomierz.The thesis is an attempt to supplement the study of contemporary regional Polish language. It consists of three chapters and a dictionary. In the first chapter we find the theoretical considerations of regionalism. The second was presented a brief history of Sandomierz, located on the characteristics of the respondents. The third section is a lexical analysis of the collected material: division of words into semantic fields, the turnout has been tested, vitality, which is presence in the speech of particular age groups), and the range of regional words occurrence. The material was collected by questionnaire findings, extracted 54 regionalisms.Although not very numerous collection of regionalism, the collected lexical material provides valuable scientific information.Przedmiotem pracy są regionalizmy leksykalne obecne w mowie mieszkańców Sandomierza. Praca stanowi próbę uzupełnienia badań nad współczesną polszczyzną regionalną. Składa się ona z trzech rozdziałów i słownika. W pierwszym rozdziale znajdziemy teoretyczne rozważania dotyczące regionalizmu. W drugim przedstawiona została krótka historia Sandomierza, znajduje się w nim również charakterystyka respondentów. Trzeci rozdział to analiza zebranego materiału leksykalnego: podział wyrazów na pola semantyczne, zbadana została frekwencja, żywotność (czyli obecność w mowie poszczególnych grup wiekowych), oraz zasięg występowania wyrazów regionalnych. Materiał został zebrany metodą kwestionariuszową, wyodrębniono 54 regionalizmy. Pomimo niezbyt licznego zbioru regionalizmów, zebrany materiał dostarcza cennych naukowo informacji
