The Depiction of Ghetto and a Jewish Family Living in Getto Presented in Literature. Selected Aspects.

The main topic of this thesis is the depiction of Jewish family living in ghetto during World War II period. The primary source is memoir literature from the time of the occupation. The most important goal is to present a Jewish family and its members, an attempt to define the relationship between them. One of the most important elements of this thesis is historical context, times of World War II. An attempt was made to describe the Jewish family during the occupation in relation to the prewar period, as well as in comparison to the family and family members of other religions. An important piece of thesis is also to show the individual experiences, as well as the analysis of individuals in the context of the universal tragedy of the Holocaust.Niniejsza praca podejmuje tematykę funkcjonowania rodziny żydowskiej w getcie w czasach II wojny światowej. Podstawowym źródłem jest literatura wspomnieniowa z czasów okupacji. Najważniejszym celem jest przedstawienie rodziny żydowskiej i jej członków, próba określenia relacji pomiędzy nimi. Ważnym elementem jest kontekst historyczny, czyli wydarzenia II wojny światowej. Została podjęta próba opisania rodziny żydowskiej czasów okupacji w nawiązaniu do okresu przedwojennego, jak również w porównaniu do rodziny, czy też członków rodziny innych wyznań. Istotnym fragmentem pracy jest także pokazanie indywidualnych przeżyć, jak również analiza pojedynczych osób w kontekście powszechnej tragedii Holokaustu
