The review of literature clearly indicates that caring for a person suffering from Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most difficult forms of family care. Undertaking the role of a caregiver involves many negative consequences in the extent of mental and physical health, as well as the financial and social situation of not only the caregiver, but his whole family. The primary aim of this study was the evaluation of the level of non-psychotic mental disorders among the caregivers of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
