The dilemmas of European political cooperation after 1945.

The aim of this paper is to show the difference between the economic and political integration. The question has been asked if the latter was a presupposed aim or was the decision taken too quickly. The first chapter aims to describe the history of the European integration. The second is to show the European Union as a key actor at the international political stage. The third chapter is about the perspectives of the European Union. Finally, the fourth presents how the Lisbon Treaty changes provide the answers for the dilemmas of the European political cooperation.Praca ma na celu wykazanie różnic między rozwojem integracji gospodarczej i politycznej. Postawiono pytanie, czy ta druga była z góry założonym celem, czy też została podjęta pośpiesznie. Pierwszy rozdział opisuje historię integracji europejskiej. Druga ma za zadanie pokazać Unię Europejską, jako ważnego aktora światowej sceny politycznej. Trzeci rozdział mówi o perspektywie rysującej się przed UE. Wreszcie czwarty opisuje jakimi zmianami Traktat lizboński odpowiada na dylematy europejskiej współpracy politycznej
