Trust in relationships between a student and a teacher according to junior high school students

My paper consists of four chapters, in which I have analysed issues connected with trust in relationships between a student and a teacher. The main problem of the work is the following: How do the students of junior high school perceive their trust to the teachers and its conditions? For the purpose of my research I have used the method of a diagnostic poll. The techniques I used are a questionnaire and an interview. I interviewed 13 students of junior high school, while 86 students of junior high school from Silesian voivodeship completed a questionnaire. The results of the research showed how the students of junior high school trusted their teachers. It turned out that most of the surveyed students trusted at least one teacher - in most cases the educator. A student's trust to a teacher is determined by a lot of factors, among which the most important ones are character traits, such as kindness, honesty and fairness. Similarly, the students consider injustice from teachers' side as the basic impediment in building trust. Lack of teacher's communicative skills also plays an important role. At the end of the thesis you can find conclusions, in which I tried to answer the bibliography (43 book sources and 7 magazines) and an appendix containing a questionnaire form.Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów, w których podjęłam się analizy zagadnień związanych z zaufaniem w relacjach między uczniem i nauczycielem. Problem główny pracy brzmi: Jak gimnazjaliści postrzegają swoje zaufanie do nauczycieli oraz jego uwarunkowanie? Do realizacji celów badawczych zastosowałam metodę sondażu diagnostycznego. Posłużyłam się techniką ankiety i wywiadu. Przeprowadziłam swobodne rozmowy z trzynaściorgiem gimnazjalistów; ankiety zostały wypełnione przez 86 uczniów gimnazjum z województwa śląskiego. Wyniki badań ukazały postrzeganie zaufania do nauczycieli przez gimnazjalistów. Stwierdziłam, że większość badanych ufa przynajmniej jednemu nauczycielowi w swojej szkole – najczęściej jest to wychowawca klasy. Zaufanie ucznia do nauczyciela jest uwarunkowane przez wiele czynników, wśród których najistotniejsze okazują się wybrane cechy charakteru nauczyciela, takie jak: życzliwość, uczciwość i sprawiedliwość. Analogicznie – za podstawowe utrudnienie w budowaniu zaufania uczniowie uznali niesprawiedliwość ze strony nauczyciela. Nie bez znaczenia okazał się również brak jego kompetencji komunikacyjnych. Pracę kończy bibliografia (licząca 43 pozycje książkowe i 7 czasopism) oraz aneks zawierający kwestionariusz ankiety
