Mantophasmatodea - a new insect order

In 2001, entomologist Oliver Zompro made the unexpected discovery a new order of insects. Mantophasmatodea (because these insects are named) have been found on the West coast of South Africa, Namibia. They are organisms with specific construction, combining in itself the characteristics of other orders of insects such as Mantodea, Phasmatodea and Orthoptera. However, this uniqueness, prevents assigning Mantophasmatodea to any of those orders. This has led to a need to review the already existing insects taxonomy, and its amendment that would enable the correct allocation of the newly discovered order. Mantophasmatodea are a night predators, with dimensions not exceeding 4cm of the body length. Oviparous insects, with incomplete metamorphosis. There are live in a dry and hot climate, of rocky areas.Construction of the organism and its age, gives researchers the opportunity to find answers to the questions, which have so far been impossible.W 2001 roku, entomolog Oliver Zompro dokonał niespodziewanego odkrycia nowego rzędu owadów. Mantophasmatodea (bo tak nazwano te owady) zostały odnalezione na zachodnim wybrzeżu Afryki Południowej, na terenie Namibii. Są to organizmy o specyficznej budowie, łączącej w sobie cechy charakterystyczne innych grup owadów takich jak modliszki, patyczaki i szarańczaki. Jednak wyjątkowość ta, uniemożliwia przyporządkowanie Mantophasmatodea do żadnego z wyżej wymienionych rzędów. Spowodowało to konieczność zweryfikowania już istniejącej systematyki owadów, i jej zmiana, która umożliwiłaby prawidłowe przyporządkowanie nowo odkrytego rzędu. Mantophasmatodea są nocnymi drapieżnikami o wymiarach ciała nie przekraczających 4cm długości. Organizmy jajorodne, o przeobrażeniu hemimetabolicznym. Występują w suchym i gorącym klimacie, na terenach skalistych. Budowa tego organizmu oraz jego wiek, daje naukowcom okazje znalezienia odpowiedzi na pytania, których uzyskanie do tej pory było niemożliwe
