Biodiversity of the vertebrates water tank Staw Płaszowski with particular emphasis on avifauna.

Following work represents the results of inwentory research led in seasons 2010-2011 in Cracow, in District Podgórze, water tank Staw Płaszowski. Study realated to all vertebrates around the pond and his closest area, from special reference breeding and flying avifauna.Were found 10 spieces of fish, 2 spieces of amphibians, 2 spieces of reptiles, 42 spieces of birds and 9 spieces of mammals. The main representatives of the breeding awifauna were Mute Swan Cygnus olor, Great Creasted Grebe Podiceps cristatus, Common Coot Fulica atra, Common Pochard Aythya ferina, Mallard Anas platyrhynchos, Tufted Duck Aythya fuligula and Great Reed Werbler Acrocephalus arundinencus. Also, there observed a large biodiversity other vertebrates. The additional objective was to identify risks and propose a form of protection.Poniższa praca przedstawia wyniki badań inwentaryzacyjnych prowadzonych w sezonach 2010 i 2011 na położonym w Krakowie, w Dzielnicy Podgórze, Stawie Płaszowskim. Badania dotyczyły wszystkich kręgowców w obrębie zbiornika wodnego i jego najbliższej okolicy, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem awifauny lęgowej i zalatującej.Dodatkowym celem badań było określenie zagrożeń i zaproponowanie formy ochrony badanego stanowiska. Stwierdzono występowanie 42 gatunków ptaków, w tym 7 gatunków stale gniazdujących lub zalatujących nad staw. Główni przedstawiciele awifauny lęgowej to łabędź niemy Cygnus olor, perkoz dwuczuby Podiceps cristatus, łyska Fulica atra, głowienka Aythya ferina, krzyżówka Anas platyrhynchos, czernica Aythya fuligula i trzciniak Acrocephalus arundinencus. Ponadto, stwierdzono występowanie 10 gatunków ryb oraz zaobserwowano 2 gatunki płazów i 2 gatunki gadów oraz 9 gatunków ssaków. Zdiagnozowano główne zagrożenia badanego ekosystemu oraz zaproponowano formę ochrony
