The cooperation and involvement of teachers in team work.

The first chapter provides general theoretical concepts which characterize teams in organizations as well as teachers working at schools. The subchapter describes the stages of creating the teams. The end of the chapter explains the concept of cooperation and commitment to teamwork. This chapter also presents hypothesis. The first one states: " The cooperation can take many forms: on one hand, you can cooperate and share your work (individual work), and on the other hand, you can actually do a task together in a given place and at any given time." The second hypothesis assumed that "Teachers engage in the team work in a passive and an active way. The passive engagement is the commitment to a particular group or a team, while the active involvement is about contribution and time spent on working in a team. The second chapter presents the results obtained from the observations carried out during the work teachers’ teams. Twenty teams have been studied, of which 75% of the teams worked in groups, and 25% preferred to work individually, yet 70% of the teams’ members were involved actively in the cooperation, and 30% of the members were involved passively. The tests’ results were used to verify these hypotheses. The third chapter presents the conclusion based on the confirmation of the hypothesis. It turned out that the first hypothesis can be acknowledged, because teachers on one hand work together in groups; however, on the other hand they work individually. The second hypothesis can be confirmed as well, as the commitment to teamwork manifests itself actively and passively.W rozdziale pierwszym zostały przedstawione ogólne teoretyczne pojęcia charakteryzujące zespoły w organizacjach. Następnie przedstawiono zespoły nauczycieli funkcjonujące w szkołach. W kolejnym podrozdziale opisano etapy kształtowania się zespołów. Na końcu wyjaśniono pojęcie współpracy oraz zaangażowania w pracę zespołową. W rozdziale tym wskazano także hipotezy. Pierwsza hipoteza brzmiała następująco „współpraca może przybierać różne formy: z jednej strony można współpracować, ale dzielić się pracą (pracować indywidualnie), a z drugiej strony można rzeczywiście wspólnie wykonywać zadanie w danym miejscu i o danym czasie”, natomiast druga hipoteza zakładała, że „nauczyciele angażują się w pracę swoich zespołów w sposób bierny i czynny. Zaangażowanie bierne jest to przynależność do danego zespołu, natomiast zaangażowanie czynne jest to wkład i czas poświęcony pracy w działaniu zespołu”.W rozdziale drugim przedstawiono wyniki badań jakie uzyskano z przeprowadzonych obserwacji podczas pracy zespołów nauczycieli. Przebadano 20 zespołów, z czego 75% zespołów współpracuje grupowo, a 25% preferuje pracę indywidualną, natomiast 70% członków zespołów angażuje się czynnie, a 30% członków biernie. Badania posłużyły do weryfikacji powyższych hipotez.W rozdziale trzecim przedstawiono wnioski wynikające z weryfikacji hipotez. Okazało się, że można potwierdzić hipotezę pierwszą, ponieważ nauczyciele z jednej strony współpracują ze sobą grupowo natomiast z drugiej strony pracują indywidualnie. Także hipotezę drugą można potwierdzić, ponieważ zaangażowanie w pracę zespołową przejawia się czynnie i biernie
