Security management of mass events in the football’s hooliganism context

The main purpose of this research has been to define the action taken by the police and other units, in order to combat football’s hooliganism. All the detailed purposes have been subordinated to this main purpose. The methods used in this research has included the inspection of the legal’s documentation, the statistically - descriptive analysis, the generally known methods of deduction and induction. In addition, hooligans, Police and members of football clubs have been interviewed and various members of the football fans forum have been given a questionnaire in order to find out necessary information and opinions about the researched problem. Doing this research shows that there are a lot of opportunities to deal with hooligans. The first, important step to change something for better is consciousness. On the bases of the suitable sources (mainly legal) there have been appointed people responsible for managing of mass events and dealing with hooligans and the tasks for them have been specified. Also presents ideas for ensuring security during the EURO 2012 Championships.Głównym celem pracy było przedstawienie działań podejmowanych, przez Policję oraz inne jednostki, w celu zwalczania bandytyzmu stadionowego. Celowi temu podporządkowane były wszystkie cele szczegółowe. Wśród metod, które wykorzystano do napisania tej pracy wyróżnić można: wgląd do aktów prawnych, analizę statystyczno-opisową, powszechnie znane metody dedukcji i indukcji. Ponadto przeprowadziłam wywiady bezpośrednie z chuliganami, Policją, przedstawicielami klubów sportowych oraz skorzystałam z kibicowskiego forum internetowego, w celu uzyskania potrzebnych informacji i opinii na temat badanej kwestii. Pisanie pracy ukazało, że istnieje wiele możliwości na walkę z chuliganami. Jak wiadomo, świadomość jest pierwszym, istotnym krokiem by coś zmienić na lepsze. Na podstawie odpowiednich źródeł (głównie prawnych) wskazano osoby odpowiedzialne i ich zadania w odniesieniu do zarządzania imprezami masowymi i walki z chuligaństwem. Powinno to wpłynąć na lepsze egzekwowanie tych zobowiązań. Przedstawiono ponadto pomysły na zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa podczas Mistrzostw EURO 2012
