Attitudes of young people to sects and new religious movements and involvement in religious life

The purpose of this study was to show the attitudes of young people on sects and new religious movements in the context of commitment to religious life. The work consists of six interrelated chapters. The first two chapters cover the theoretical issues relating to sects and new religious movements. Presented in theory allows them closer to understanding the issues related to the topics discussed and the introduction of the empirical work. The third chapter is a methodology of the study. Subsequent chapters are part of the empirical work, the fourth chapter contains a description of the respondents, their level of religiosity, and the preferred value and a description of preventive measures carried out by the school of critical social attitudes. However, the fifth chapter shows the attitude towards the sects and new religious movements, or perception of these groups of youth. In the sixth chapter to verify the conclusions from the results obtained and summarized all the work.Celem niniejszej pracy było ukazanie postaw młodzieży dotyczących sekt i nowych ruchów wyznaniowych w kontekście zaangażowania w życie religijne. Pracę tworzy sześć powiązanych ze sobą rozdziałów. Pierwsze dwa rozdziały obejmują podstawy teoretyczne odnoszące się do problematyki sekt oraz nowych ruchów wyznaniowych. Przedstawiona w nich teoria pozwala na bliższe poznanie zagadnień związanych z omawianą tematyką i wprowadzenie do części empirycznej pracy. Rozdział trzeci to metodologia przeprowadzonych badań. Kolejne rozdziały to empiryczna część pracy, rozdział czwarty zawiera opis badanych, poziom ich religijności i preferowane wartości oraz opis oddziaływań profilaktycznych prowadzonych przez szkołę w zakresie krytycznych postaw społecznych. Natomiast rozdział piąty ukazuje postawy wobec sekt i nowych ruchów wyznaniowych, czyli postrzeganie tych grup przez młodzież. W rozdziale szóstym dokonano weryfikacji wniosków z otrzymanych wyników i podsumowano całą pracę
