Pyschological and social situation of adolescent pregnancy in review- the role of psychological support to teenage mothers.

The aim of this paper was to present causes and consequences of teenage motherhood. There was described psychological, social and legal situation of teenage girls and also progress of teenage pregnancy and labour in comparison to adult woman. The author has pictured important role of support to young girls from family and medical staff. There was also described a major role of the family and upbringing and the role of sex education as factors preventing the occurrence of the phenomen of teen pregnancy and motherhood.Celem pracy jest przedstawienie przyczyn i konsekwencji młodocianego macierzyństwa. Opisana została psychologiczna, społeczna, prawna sytuacja nastoletnich dziewcząt oraz przebieg ciąży nastolatek w porównaniu do kobiet dorosłych. Ukazana została istotna rola wsparcia udzielanego młodej dziewczynie przez rodzinę i personel medyczny. Została również opisana bardzo ważna rola rodziny i wychowania oraz udział edukacji seksualnej udzielanej w szkole jako czynników zapobiegających występowaniu zjawiska młodocianych ciąż
