The Psychological Characteristics of Women in Pregnancy and After Childbirth

The pregnancy and the childbirth is the culminating moment in a woman's life. This events accompany numerous strong and extreme emotions - from fear and anxiety, the joy and fulfillment. The aim of this study was to characterize the psychological women in the perinatal period and to assess the effects of factors such as social support, preparation of information, the presence of clear objectives, expectations and values professed and lived the life experience of emotions in the behavior of pregnant women after childbirth. The study included 100 randomly selected maternity. Participation was voluntary. The study was conducted from February 2011 to May 2011. According to the survey on the experience of pregnancy and childbirth is influenced by many factors. It is very important for the pregnant woman are social support and prepare information such as School of birth. The study also found that women who adhere to different values of life, or are recovering from an obstetric already have some experience, will be differently experienced pregnancy and childbirth. Therefore the interview with a pregnant woman is very important. It’s necessary to pay special attention to its contact with family, preparing for childbirth, and it’s most importantly - on the behavior of the patient. The prevention is great importance because, emotional problems can lead to serious pathological changes.Ciąża i poród jest kulminacyjnym momentem w życiu kobiety. Wydarzeniom tym towarzyszy szereg silnych oraz skrajnych emocji – od obaw i lęku, do radości i spełnienia. Celem pracy było scharakteryzowanie pod względem psychologicznym kobiet w okresie okołoporodowym oraz ocena wpływu czynników, takich jak: wsparcie społeczne, przygotowanie informacyjne, obecność jasnych celów, oczekiwań, wyznawanych wartości i doświadczenia życiowego oraz przeżywanych emocji w ciąży na zachowanie tych kobiet po porodzie. Badaniem objęto 100 losowo wybranych położnic. Udział był dobrowolny. Badanie przeprowadzono od lutego 2011 roku do maja 2011 roku. Według przeprowadzonej ankiety na przeżywanie ciąży i porodu ma wpływ wiele czynników. Niezwykle istotne dla kobiety ciężarnej jest wsparcie bliskich oraz przygotowanie informacyjne np. w Szkole Rodzenia. Badanie wykazało także, że kobiety, które wyznają różne wartości życiowe lub mają za sobą już jakieś doświadczenia położnicze, będą inaczej przeżywały ciążę i poród. Bardzo ważny jest więc wywiad z kobietą ciężarną. Należy zwrócić szczególną uwagę na jej kontakt z rodziną, przygotowanie do porodu i co najważniejsze na zachowanie pacjentki. Prewencja jest bardzo istotna, ponieważ problemy natury emocjonalnej mogą prowadzić do poważnych zmian chorobowych
