Some definitions of fractal dimension and relationships between them were presented in this work. This part was preceded by review of several classical fractals and description about one of fractal creation methodes.Basic fractals features were described in first part, there also were presented fractals such as Cantor set, Sierpiński triangle, Koch curve and devil stairs. There are pictures of some other interesting fractals. This part was finished by description of IFS (deterministic iterated function system) – fractal creation process.Four definitions of fractal dimension were desrcibed in the main second part: self-similarity dimension, calipers dimension (based on Richardson law), box-counting dimension and Hausdorff dimension.
