Core curriculum for the Polish language : how can it be? what should t be like? : suggestion of reflection

This article describes the Polish core curriculum. A brief historical outline serves to illustrate that the core curriculum as a form of a document regulating education in a given country is one of the possible forms of influencing the shape of teaching. The article presents the assumptions of the Polish core curriculum project, which in my opinion, resulting from both didactic thought and empirical research, could serve a modern school.
