In preschool, pupils begin a litterary journey in which learning to understand is a major part. After exploring the official papers and numerous theorics and didactic sources, I focused my study on tales and storytelling as supports of this teaching. I asked myself to what degree storytelling stimulates a common learning enclined to help the understanding of a story and report on that understanding. In that perspective, I prepared a method inspired by the Narramus method and studied various pupils’ productions to multiple sides: the importance of the pupil’s langage level, the progress of that same pupils and the position of the teacher and its interventions in this method.
