International audienceBackground : The use of complementary and alternative medicine including herbal medicine (phytotherapy), vitamins, minerals and food supplements is frequent among people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) who take antiretroviral (ARV) drugs, but is often not known by their prescribing physicians.
