International audienceDiverse metabolic disorders have been associated with an alteration of N-acylethanolamine (NAE) levels. These bioactive lipids are synthesized mainly by N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine-selective phospholipase D (NAPE-PLD) and influence host metabolism.
