From the spectral lines to the frequencies of their pulsations, rapidly rotating starsexhibit signs of that rotation in all kinds of observations. Interferometry especiallyallowed us to study local effects of rotation by turning stars from points to extendedsources. The determination of stellar physical parameters from these observationsdepends however on the models used to describe the stellar surface, and a completerepresentation of the star relies on the union of stellar interior models and atmospheremodels.
