Owing to the increasing migration flux, french midwiwes are likely to meet patients with female genital mutilation (FGM). Therefore, it is essential to be able to detect and to take care of this patients. The main goal of this study is to estimate the prevalence of midwives who have cared of at least one woman with genital mutilation. The goals are also to evaluate their knowledge concerning female genital mutilation, to describe their screening and the care of this patients, and to describe the characteristics of the midwiwes who feel at ease with the screening and the care of the patients with female genital mutilations.
